The
award honours the individual or organisation that has launched a
project that demonstrates the truly innovative use of online and
offline technologies, and which demonstrates the leverage of
state-of-the-art functionality in media technologies such as digital
communications and storage.
The criteria for the award is as follows:
Value for money – a clear demonstration of efficient production and performance against agreed ROI expectations.
Timely
delivery - delivery against an agreed client schedule, demonstration of
quick turnaround, market responsiveness, adaptability.
Performance
- overall reliability, availability and performance of the
site/application including details of 'future proofing' (surrounding
scalability, changes in technology, user patterns, etc).
Quality - details of applied project management, testing and QA procedures and processes.
Creativity – an evaluation of how/if the creative approach is appropriate to the target audience/project in question.
Usability – a clear demonstration of user testing, changes made and demonstration of improvements thereafter.
Accessibly - outline of how DDA legislation and guidelines (if applicable) have been embraced and applied within the project.
Tangible metrics outlining success.
